The Standards

IAEA International Standards for Educational Assessment Organisations

Nine standards describing what a credible assessment body does — from governance and item development through to marking, grading, reporting and the ethical use of results. Written by practitioners, reviewed on a four-year cycle, and used by ministries and boards as a shared reference point.
